update: changes to access to Coventry Railway station - Connect Culture
Ticket gates have now been installed at Coventry railway station. At times it can get quite busy getting in and out of the 6 gates, of which two provide wider access.
Changes to the station are yet to be finalised. The temporary crossing before the new bus stop (9, 9a, ) is still in place, and the following footpath narrow and prone to flooding. Also, to enter the station, pedestrians have to cross through the taxi rank which can be hazardous.
The new bus stops (lines 1, 9, 9A, 87, 539, 580) and corresponding bus lines are clearly displayed at the bus stop in front of the station.
Three of the four accessible parking spaces are now available for use again
Work is still in progress and will be for at least another year.
