Paris
If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast.
Ernest Hemingway
There is a magic about Paris in whatever season. Paris is quintessentially everything you imagine is France - the romance, the food, the luxuriance, glamour and beauty. Walking down the Seine, watching and waving to the people in the bateau mouche or jostling along with other tourists in Montmartre, craning your neck to look up the Eiffel Tower - you've read about these places or watched the films in the cinema.
Paris is served by 2 airports - Charles de Gaulle (also known as Roissy) and Orly. Most air passengers arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport - not the best experience but they are getting better at facilities for disabled travellers. One of the biggest bariers can be the language but we can arrange for English speaking accessible pick ups or direct you to getting an accessible taxi.
The transport system is very efficient if you know how to use it and most buses in central Paris are spacious buses which has lowered floors and extending ramps.
You might already have an exact idea of what you want to do when you are here but if you do not, or you want to have nore ideas - here is a resource guide to attractions and whats on in Paris.
