Paris transport
Public transport is getting better in Paris. There are no accessible taxis like black cabs in London but there are accessible taxis if you book in advance.
From the Airport
The RER B train runs direct from Charles de Gaulle terminal 2 to Paris Gare du Nord and Les Halles. There are lifts at all three stations, advance notice is required for the ramp to board train. (24 hours notice is advised ) somebody should ring ahead to be ready with the ramp at the other end. There is an accessible shuttle train between all three terminals. Phone number to ring is 08 10 64 64 64 (within France) international call 0033892693246
From Paris Orly, take the Aeroports de Paris shuttle bus (wheelchair accessible) to Anthony station, then take RER B to Les Halles or the Gare du Nord.

Eurostar
The most comfortable way of getting from London to Paris and vice versa is to go with Eurostar. There are concessionary tickets for wheelchair users. The only seats for wheelchair users are in First class. There is only one space per coach, each disabled passeger can bring a companion at the same reduced rate but if there are more of you, the third person will have to sit in standard class or purchase a first class ticket. You have to call Eurostar to book these seats, you cannot do them online - there is a £5 service charge.
