Reataurants in Paris
Accessible restaurants

To find level access restaurants is not easy in Paris. Your best bet is to go into big extablishments - for example in the department stores and in museums. I am going to try to keep to the main 'touristy' areas at present. Obviously in the summer with the pavement cafes, there are less problems with accessibility but it is not always warm and contrary to belief, it does rain sometimes in Paris too.
To stay in the Marais - L'As du Fallafel (34 rue des Rosiers; ) is said to be a great place - good for the famous falafel sandwich (for vegetarians and kosher) but it does have one step of about 10 cm.
There is Chez George at the Pompidou Centre- great panaromic view. You can pay 5euros for a coffee but it is worth it if you need a rest from having done the Pompidou.
Opposite the Hotel de Ville, I was delighted to find a restaurant/canteen above the BHV Tivoli, 55, rue de la Verrerie, 75189 Paris Cedex 4
Tél : 01 42 74 90 00. It was spacious, prices were reasonable and it had an accessible toilet. It also has parking nearby.
For vegetarians there is Le Grenier de Notre Dame on 17 rue des Deux Ponts, at the crossroads of the main shopping area. (Metro Pont Marie-Notre Dame.. The other restaurant of the same name is up a flight of stairs. From all accounts, they serve excellent vegetarian food.
I have been to the DeDa Restaurant - 8-10 rue Coquillere (+33 153 408085) which is Georgian. It is accessible but one definitely for meat eaters.
When I was cruising around the Gare du Nord, I came accross this Chinese buffet - Delices de Roseline, rue de valencienne. It is more of a traiteur but it is accessible. Cannot vouch for the food.
I will add on more restaurants but one good restaurant guide/blog is resto-de-paris (French) this has the added advantage of a great interactive map, , another the Paris Vegetarian (English)
Vegetarian restaurants which are recommended by Ted Drake of Paris Vegetarian - these look great but might be a bit off the beaten track for a tourist. But they might be worth it given that vegetarian and vegan restaurants are elusive in Paris
